APPROACH TO THE CALCULATION FOR CROSS-SECTIONAL PARAMETERS OF CONCRETE FILLED STEEL TUBULAR RIBBED-ARCH BRIDGES

Concrete Filled Steel Tubular (CFST) ribs axe composite members in which is the confining force between the two kinds of materials: stecl and concrete. It is useful to calculate the geometric characteristics of CFST members reasonably with considering the conflning force. In this paper, a rational method is suggested.
