VIRTUAL BOUNDARY ELEMENT-COLLOCATION METHOD FOR SOLVING ELASTIC COUPLING PROBLEM OF DIFFERENT MATERIALS

  • in this paper, a virtual boundaryelement-collocation method is proposed to solve theelastic coupling problem of different materials. Fordifferent regions of materials, the fundamental solutions are adopted, respectively. So the complexityand limits of Hetenyi's fundamental solution couldbe avoided. By comparing the computing resultsof the given example with theoretical results, it isshown that the proposed method is very effective.
