  • This paper presents a brief discussion of the basic concepts, design approaches, constitutive modeling and methodologies on shape memory alloy intelligent composites. The main focus is on the recent developments in the investigations-of vibration, noise and impact control of engineering structural components. Some extensive research on SMA intelligent material and structures are also proposed.
