EXPLORATION OF "OUT OF CLASS" TEACHING MODEL IN MATERIAL MECHANICS EXPERIMENT COURSES UNDER DIGITAL-INTELLIGENT CONTEXT

  • With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, material mechanics experiment courses are now facing dual demands for intelligent restructuring and practical paradigm innovation in the new era. Traditional classroom teaching, constrained by its spatiotemporal limitations and standardized procedures, struggles to meet the educational goals of cultivating students' autonomous innovation capabilities and interdisciplinary practical skills in the digital-intelligent age. This necessitates a breakthrough from the conventional “teacher-led instruction-student imitation" model. The introduction of the “Out of Class" and “Two-Dimensional, Three-Stage" teaching mode redefines educational scenarios and teacher-student relationships, embedding learning into a natural inquiry state that activates students' agency and fosters the ability of problem discovery, solution innovation and practical verification. This approach aims to cultivate multidisciplinary talents capable of addressing complex engineering challenges in the AI-driven era.
