Empowering with Digital Intelligence, Project-Driven Approach, and Cultivating ‘Mechanics+’ Innovative Talents

  • Under the Mechanics 101 Program Beihang University has established a “Mechanics+" interdisciplinary innovation talent cultivation model featuring a “digital-intelligent empowerment, project-driven, ideological integration" trinity framework. By establishing a virtual simulation platform for aircraft design, it deeply integrates mechanical theory with multidisciplinary engineering practice. The “Collaborative Aircraft Research Project" breaks disciplinary barriers, creating a cross-domain innovation platform to enhance students' systems thinking and engineering innovation capabilities. Simultaneously, ideological education is embedded in professional practice through a "dual-helix" educational system, fostering aerospace patriotism. This reform digitally restructures mechanical education while significantly improving students' interdisciplinary collaboration, practical engineering skills, and innovative thinking, offering a new pathway for cultivating high-end equipment R&D talents under the Mechanics 101 Program.
