DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF SOIL MECHANICS TEACHING: COLLABORATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF TEXTBOOK CONSTRUCTION AND CLASSROOM IMPLEMENTATION

  • In the realm of digital education reform, a significant branch of engineering, soil mechanics is experiencing a shift from the traditional unidirectional teaching model to a digital teaching paradigm. This paper explores how digital instruction reshapes the teaching and learning processes of soil mechanics. Firstly, it explains that the transformation and upgrading of soil mechanics digital education is to innovate the learning ecosystem, digital course resources, teaching mode and educational evaluation mode through information technology. Furthermore, using Ningxia University as a case study, this paper shows the collaborative optimization development of the construction of digital soil mechanics teaching materials and classroom implementation. It reveals that the transformation of digital education breaks the barriers of educational resources and traditional educational space. Thereby enabling personalized talent cultivation, flexible teaching approaches, and the seamless integration of online and offline educational forms.
