Abstract: The working principle of aircraft net arrestingsystem is introduced. By a dynamic analysis of the arresting, amechanics model is established and the theoretical formulas forthe aircraft displacement and the force of net rope are obtained. This provides some useful guid ance for design and construction of arresting net.
