Abstract: This article briefly introduces the main academic achievements of Professor Charles Meneveau, the winner of the 5th Batchelor Prize, and his recent major academic accomplishments in the fields of wind energy fluid mechanics, wall turbulence, large eddy simulation, and turbulence databases.
