支架,放还是不放?这是个生物力学问题

STENT, IMPLANT OR NOT? IT’S A BIOMECHANICAL PROBLEM

  • 摘要: 血管支架用于扩张血管狭窄病变部位,以达到血流通畅的目的。但什么样的狭窄血管需要放支架?这是个生物力学问题。本文从血管狭窄的功能学评价指标来分析血管狭窄、心肌缺血和支架治疗之间的逻辑关系,用农田灌溉这样形象的比喻来阐明冠脉支架介入术的生物力学机理,启发读者思考临床医学背后的基础工程科学原理。

     

    Abstract: Endovascular stents are used to dilate vascular stenosis so as to restore blood flow. However, what kind of stenotic blood vessels need stent treatment? It's a biomechanical problem. In this paper, the logical relationship between vascular stenosis, myocardial ischemia and stent treatment was analyzed from the functional evaluation index of vascular stenosis, and the biomechanical mechanism of coronary stent intervention was illustrated with a vivid metaphor of farmland irrigation, so as to inspire readers to think about the basic engineering science principle behind clinical medicine.
