ON THE DISPUTE BETWEEN “DIMENSIONLESS” AND “DIMENSION ONE”

摘要: 在科技工作者中, 对“无量纲”和“量纲一”两个术语一直存在激烈争论，本文就两种术语的由来、国内外使用情况作了探讨，以引起出版界、计量部门和有关技术委员会的关注。

Abstract: Among scientific and technological workers, there has been a heated debate on the two terms "dimensionless" and "dimension one". This paper discusses the origin and use of the two terms at home and abroad, so as to attract the attention of the publishing industry, metrology departments and relevant technical committees.
