THE CALCULATION OF THE DYNAMIC PROBLEM OF A BEAM WITH ARBITRARY BOUNDARY CONDITIONS BY METHOD OF CONVOLUTION-TYPE GALERKIN METHOD

  • The convolution-type Galerkin method is proposed to calculate a beam with arbitraryboundary conditions by using a series function in time domain andthe mode shape function of the beam in space domain. The example of the beamwith its both ends cramped is calculated and it is shownthat highly accurate results can be obtained. The approach is worthfurther investigation and extension.
