THREE-DIMENSIONAL EXACT SOLUTION FOR FREE AND FORCED VIBRATIONS OF MULTILAYERED PLATES

  • Based on the three-dimensional theory of elasticity and the statespace approach, this paper studies the free vibration and forcedvibration of an isotropic multilayered rectangular plate with fouredges simply supported. Firstly, on the basis of the theory ofelasticity,the governing equations of a multilayered plate are established and the freevibration response of the laminated panel is obtained by the state spaceapproach. Then the dynamic response of the multilayered plate subjected toan impact loading is obtained from Lagrangian dynamic formulations.
