  • A method for solving torsion of thin-walled prismatic rodswith complex cross-section was presented. Based on the Prandtl's stressfunction solution, this method draws on the network theory approach inelectrical circuit analysis via electrical analogy. The method is applicablefor engineering problems of torsion of thin-walled rods with complexcross-section. It is also of pedagogic significance. Above-mentioned methodwill broaden students' horizon and enable them to gain more knowledge ofinterdisciplinary interaction.
