COMPOSING IN PARALLEL THE STIFFNESS MATRIXES OF FEM WITH THE THEORY OF MULTI-COLOR DYEING

  • Based on the theory of multi-color dyeing, the elementsof FEM were sorted with arbitrary number of elements in the neighborhoodof the same node. While composing the stiffness matrix, the same set ofelements can be treated by parallel computation. So the efficiency ofcomposing the stiffness matrix was raised. The parallel algorithm wascarried out on parallel platform PVM with good results.
