3D CONTACT FEM ANALYSIS ON THE DRIVING WHEEL SYSTEM OF BUNDLING MACHINE

  • The driving system is an essential part of themodern bundling machine. 3D contact nonlinear finite element analysis onthe driving wheel system of the bundling machine is made by using thefinite element analysis software ANSYS. The contact stress distributionis obtained. It is found that the maximal contact stresses are in agreementwith the simplified calculation using the conventional method.
