This paper discusses
how to use HLLC method to treat moving boundary.
The explicit finite volume method based on
unstructured meshes is employed to solve Eulerian equations. The
impulse piston moving backward and forward is simulated to
validate the moving boundary treatment. As an example, flows around a static
cylinder and around a moving cylinder in a static flow field are
calculated. The numerical results indicate that it is feasible to use the
HLLC method to treat the moving boundary condition.
