COUPLED NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF SUPERSONIC FLOW FIELD AND HEATED STRUCTURE OF FLYING VEHICLES

  • The upwind TVD and finite volume method are employed to solvethe supersonic flow field, and the finite element method or finite differencemethod is employed to solve the solid wall temperature distribution. The twoparts work together, each one provides a boundary condition for theother, and exchanges information through the solid wall surface. Thistechnology provides an efficient way for aerothermal problems.
