STUDY OF THE ALE FINITE ELEMENT METHOD AND ITS APPLICATIONS

ALE-FEM (Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian Finite Element Method) cansuccessfully be used in solving problems, such as liquid large-amplitude sloshing,fluid-structure interaction, metal forming, andlarge-deformation analysis. This paper reviews the research progress ofALE finite element method and its further development.
