A new method for elastic beam analysis is presented. Ageneral expression for determining deflections and slopes ofelastic beams is developed using a method combining singularityfunctions with Laplace transformations, and the binding forces aredeterminedwith boundary condition of the beams. This method canbe used for statically determinate beams or statically indeterminatebeams with different section shapes, boundary and loading conditions.
