MESH DEPENDENCE OF DIE SWELL OF NEWTONIAN FLUID

Die swell of Newtonian fluid is studied by meansof finite element method and its mesh dependence for die swell isobtained by using variance analyses. The effects of the axial length of thefirst row elements out of exit and the radial height of the first lineelements near wall on die swell are noticeable.
