FRACTIONAL DIFFERENTIATION SOLUTION OF STOKES' FIRST PROBLEM

In this paper, the fractional differentiation solution of Stokes' first problem based on Heaviside symbolic operator method is presented. It can betransformed to the solution based on similarity method. This is a perfect exampleto show the clearness, brevity and uniformity of mathematics in fluid mechanics.
