SECONDARY STRESS ANALYSIS OF SLOPE TUNNEL

This paper analyzes the stress of rockin the slope ground. Considering the circlar tunnel as a little hole in the infinite elastic plate, theauthors have derived an analvtic solution of the secondary stress in the surrounding rock by the equivalent method of disintegration and superposition. Inthe work of Huangtuling tunnel of Yong-Tai-Wenhighway, the authors compare the analytic solutionwith the field data available and find theIn to be ingood agreement.
