MECHANICAL MODEL FOR RADIUS SCAFFOLD AND ITS LOAD CAPACITY

  • Based on the distribution of thethree-dimensional holes in human bones, we propose a method to establishthe mechanical model for human radius scaffold. Mechanical model of humanradius is established in this paper by this method, together with a viscoelasticconstitutive model. According to mechanical properties of themechanical model, we reach the following conclusions: when given a uniaxialpressure, the maximum stress appears in the hole wall, and the relationshipbetween stress and strain is non-linear.
