A MODEL REDUCTION METHOD FOR DYNAMIC ANALYSIS BASED ON DEFORMATION MODIFICATION AND LOCAL RIGID BODY MODE

  • A new model reduction method based on deformationmodification is presented for dynamic analysis. Complex structures can bedivided into several displacement synchronous parts by analyzing the finiteelement models based on a synchronistic assumption. The displacement can beapproached by an appropriate mode, and the transformation relationshipbetween global displacement and local displacement can be obtained byminimizing Global Strain Energy. The results of examples showthe validity of the method.
