RESEARCH ON NEMATIC MECHANISM OF HIGH STRENGTH FIBER OF LIQUID CRYSTALLINE POLYMER

Abstract: Using the transport equation for nematic liquid, the orientational motion of fiber spinning flow of liquid crystalline polymer (LC) is studied, including steady and unsteady flows. Using the Lagrange approach, the stability of the fiber spinning flow is investigated. The conclusion is drawn that the fiber spinning flow of LC polymer is stable, which serves as the basis of the nematic mechanism of high strength of the fiber of the LC polymer.
