FREQUENCY AND TIME DOMA IN RESPONSE ANALYSIS FOR LINEAR DAMPED SYSTEMS WITH MULTI DEGREES OF FREEDOM

  • In this paper,the response expression in frequency domain is obtained by analyzing the solutions of frequency equation for linear damped systems with multidegrees of freedom,then the explicit response expression in time domain for free vibration,duhamel integration for forced vibration are deduced by use of inverse fourier transform.This method can also be used for systems with unsymmetrical mass,damping and stiffness matrices,and the solutions are exact.
