用PSM模型模拟聚合物熔体的轴对称收缩流动

SIMULATION OF AXISYMMETRIC CONTRACTION FLOW FOR POLYMER MELT BY USING PSM MODEL

  • 摘要: 采用模拟黏弹流体挤出胀大的方法,计算了IUPAC-LDPE熔体经过4:1轴对称收缩流道的流动. 计算的相对涡强度、入口校正和文献中的结果基本一致,给出的流场也显示出计算结果是合理的. 表明该方法能够适用于用积分型PSM模型表征的黏弹流体在收缩流道内的流动模拟.

     

    Abstract: Based on the numerical method of die swell forviscoelastic fluid, proposed by the authors, simulations of 4:1axisymmetric contraction flow for IUPAC-LDPE melt are presented in thispaper. The relative vortex intensity and the entrance correction obtainedhere agree with the results reported in the literatures, and theflow fields are also reasonable. The results in thepaper indicate that the method used by the authors is suitable forcalculating the entry flow in contraction for viscoelastic polymer meltdescribed by the integral-type PSM constitutive equation.
