MECHANICAL PROBLEMS ON ELASTIC ROD MODEL OF DNA

  • 摘要: 概述弹性杆静力学与刚体动力学之间相似性的Kirchhoff理论. 讨论其在分子生物学的弹性杆基因模型中的应用,以及与分析力学和运动稳定性理论有关的若干问题.

     

    Abstract: The Kirchhoff theory of analogy between thestatics of a thin elastic rod and thedynamics of a rigid body about a fixed point is described in this paper. The application of thetheory in the molecular biology with the thin elastic rod as the mechanical model of DNA, andsome problems related to the analytical mechanics and the theory of stability are discussed.
