Abstract: Dynamic load effect of ice-cone interaction is studiedby using an improved rigid beam model; a formula of dynamic load factoris presented. Some results of the analysis examples are close to thoseobtained by the model tests and numerical analysis. According to thisanalysis model, regular patterns obtained by the early stage tests areproved and demonstrated. A distinguishing formula for quasi-staticcondition is presented also.
