THE APPLICATION OF MATHEMATICA IN TRANSFER MATRIX METHODS

  • 摘要: 通过两个具体实例,说明了Mathematica在传递矩阵法中的应用. 特别介绍了用Reduce命令求振动系统固有频率的方法,并把所得结果与已有结果作了对比,显示了这一方法的优越性.

     

    Abstract: In this paper, the application of Mathematica in transfer matrix methodwas demonstrated by two examples. A method using ``reduce'' command wasgiven to find the proper frequencies of a vibration system. The resultobtained was compared withthat in reference 2, which shows the effectiveness of this method.
