Abstract: The gas entry is always arranged on the top of air-drawing fully mechanized coal face. The depressing mechanism of top gas entry is analysized by the Finite Element Method(FEM), and the quantitation relation of width of top gas entry to the depressing effect of bottom air-out entry is also achived. A new design method and some reliable bases are put forword to realize the resonable layout of face entries and inprove the gas drainage effout of top entry.
