FRONT TRACING METHODS

摘要: 简要介绍一些目前十分盛行的波前追踪方法，包括VOF方法，LevelSet方法等等，并列出了大量文献供读者参考．最后对波前追踪方法的应用前景提出了一点看法。

Abstract: The front tracing methods including VOF and Level Set methods are reviewed in thepresent paper. These methods have been applied in a large number of engineering problems andillustrated here by an example: the Stefan problem. We also discussed the potential development ofthis technique in the future on dealing with surface such as phase interface, moving boundary, shockwave, etc.
