Abstract: January 2, 2021, is the 100th anniversary of the birth of Wang Ren, a famous dynamicist, geodynamics and mechanics educator in China. He is the former deputy director of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the chairman of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and the head of the Department of Mechanics of Peking University. Sincerely fondly remembers academician Wang Ren for his benevolent, sincere and dedicated life by this article, and commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Academician Wang Ren.
