基于无网格方法的碳纳米管自由振动分析1)

FREE VIBRATION ANALYSIS OF CARBON NANOTUBES BASED ON THE MESHLESS METHOD1)

  • 摘要: 采用无网格方法分析了碳纳米管的自由振动问题。通过几个数值算例来证明本方法的收敛性。将不同长径比的碳纳米管的固有频率计算结果与公开文献的结果进行对比。对比结果表明:本文方法具有较高的计算精度,基于薄板样条径向基函数的无网格方法可以成功地分析碳纳米管的自由振动问题。

     

    Abstract: Free vibration of carbon nanotubes is analyzed by the meshless method. Several numerical examples are used to verify the convergence of the present method. The natural frequencies of the carbon nanotubes of different length-to-diameter ratios are calculated and compared with the available results in published literature. The results show that the present method enjoys a high accuracy, and the meshless method based on the thin-plate spline radial basis function can successfully be used to analyze the free vibration of carbon nanotubes.
