Abstract: An approximate method of plane strain(Borrow-Novak method) for the dynamic complexstiffness analysis of axial response of pile is appliedin this paper. The results of calculation agree wellwith practical examples. The factors affecting dy-namic characteristics of pile groups are discussed,and a series of relation curves and conclusion areobtained by comparison. All these results are ofpractical value for the design of pile foundation.
